Sewala Monastery Bhutan

The Sewala Monastery in Bhutan was built in 1718 and is on a sacred Buddhist mountain near the ancient capital of Punakha.

This online Community gives us the opportunity to help support the 98 young monks who live there under the guidance of His Eminence Rimpoche Jamgon Trulku.

Learn about the wonderful work they do for world peace and to help the impoverished villages in their vicinity.

Our donations help maintain this beautiful, but aging, Buddhist monastery - which celebrates it's 300 year anniversary in 2018 - and support the monks who live and study there.

It's free to join this Community and learn more about the good work being done at Sewala - and how you can join our Group Study Trips to go and visit this magical spot in the Himalayas.  It will take your breath away and open your heart... Thank you.
